    Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) is a 60:40 joint venture between the Government of Pakistan and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, through Mubadala Investment company, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Petroleum Investment.

    Established in 1974 as an oil pipeline company, today, through self-financed investments and modular growth strategy, PARCO has grown into one of Pakistan’s largest energy conglomerates and is an integral part of the petroleum supply chain of the country.

    With its modern refinery, an extensive pipeline network, storage of over 1.5 million tons at various locations and marketing activities, PARCO is fueling Pakistan’s economic growth and saving millions of dollars of foreign exchange. This position in the industry has been achieved with a focus on operational excellence coupled with an expansion and diversification strategy leading to new projects, major acquisitions and increased development in the midstream and downstream energy sectors.

    Since 1974, PARCO embarked on a corporate journey characterized by modular growth. This strategic approach has propelled PARCO to become one of the most prominent conglomerates in Pakistan today. Notably, the company has achieved this remarkable growth while ensuring favorable returns for its shareholders, solely relying on internally generated funds without the need for additional equity injection.

    Strategic Alliances

    Pak – Arab Pipeline Company Limited (PAPCO)
    Pak-Arab Pipeline Company Limited (PAPCO) is a joint venture between PARCO (62%), Shell Pakistan (26%), and Pakistan State Oil (12%). PAPCO commissioned the White Oil Pipeline (WOP) in 2005 for USD 480 million, comprising of a 786 km long cross-country pipeline of 26” diameter, along with storage tanks, pumps and other allied facilities. WOP can transport 15 million tons per annum of Diesel and Petrol from Karachi ports to major consumption centers in up-country areas.
    Total PARCO Pakistan Limited (TPPL)

    PARCO has a 50:50 joint venture with TOTALEnergies Marketing and Services, one of the largest global energy company, for marketing of petroleum products through the retail outlets network known as TOTAL PARCO Pakistan Limited (TPPL). Today, the network has grown to more than 800 retail fuel outlets, plus a lubricant blending and marketing business, making it the second Largest Oil Marketing Company in Pakistan.
